Long before the New Year, women buy fabulously beautiful dresses and catchy accessories, make chic haircuts to fully celebrate the holiday. However, do not forget about the beauty of nails. Instead of buying expensive jewelry to attract attention to your hands, you can change the color of the nail polish and surprise others with the original New Year's nail art.
Introducing the best ideas for the 2018 New Year manicure. All of them are easily feasible at home, you just need to follow simple instructions.
5. Cute snowman
Drawing a funny snowman on one of the nails is suitable for a very young girl and for a mature woman who is young with her soul.
You will need: colorless base coat, top coat, blue varnish, white varnish, red varnish, black varnish, orange varnish, brown varnish and a fine brush (or toothpick).
Stages of execution:
- Wash your hands with soap. This will degrease the nails, the varnish will lie smoother and its adhesion to the nail plate will be more reliable.
- Apply a base transparent layer on the nails and let dry.
- On the nail selected for the drawing, apply a blue varnish and let dry.
- Take a white varnish and a thin brush and use them to draw a large oval, which starts from the tip of the nail, and ends, slightly not reaching the middle of the nail. It will be the body of a snowman.
- Draw a small circle that "grows" out of a large oval. It will be the head of a snowman.
- Using black varnish, draw three dots in the center of the oval vertically down - “buttons”.
- With black lacquer, paint the eyes of the snowman, and with orange lacquer - the nose-carrot.
- With red lacquer, draw a red scarf in the place where the oval and circle meet.
- If desired, you can decorate the snowman with a beautiful brown hat or bucket.
- Paint the remaining nails with blue varnish and, when it dries, brush white nails with a brush or a toothpick.
- Protect the picture with a colorless topcoat.
4. Christmas tree
Very simple and, at the same time, elegant and bright manicure, which can be done in a few minutes.
You will need: two thin strips of masking tape, dark green varnish “with suede effect”, translucent gel varnish with large green sequins, tweezers, glue for rhinestones and rhinestones (optional), light gray or silver varnish, colorless base and top coat, thin brush. To decorate the nails you see in the picture, OPI Skull & Glossbones, OPI Here Today ... Aragon Tomorrow Suede, and OPI Fresh Frog of Bel Air were used.
Stages of execution:
- Wash your hands with soap.
- Apply a base transparent layer on the nails and let dry.
- Apply silver or light gray varnish to the nails, let dry. This neutral shade will be the perfect backdrop for a green Christmas tree.
- Now you need two strips of masking tape (or electrical tape). Use them to form a large triangle in the middle of one of the nails, the top of which is directed upward, towards the cuticle.
- Apply green varnish to the resulting large triangle on the nail. Let it dry
- Spray glitter over green varnish.
- Using tweezers and glue for nails, decorate the resulting Christmas tree with rhinestones. You can put a small rhinestone asterisk on top or any other.
- Repeat steps 4 through 7 with the rest of the nails.
- Cover your nails with a topcoat.
